FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a motor-driven drive. To this end, disclosed is a drive device comprising a drive motor; control module; an input for receiving an external power supply; and an accumulator battery. Accumulator battery is electrically connected for selective actuation of drive motor and is made with possibility of electric connection to external power supply for charging. Control module is made with the possibility during the accumulator battery charging: receive data characterizing the measured battery charge level; compare the measured charge level with a predetermined charge level required for completion of at least two battery disconnection events when powered by a single battery, wherein the battery disconnection event includes movement of the drive device to the uninterrupted operation position.
EFFECT: reduced downtime of equipment and safe resumption of operation after a disconnection event.
