FIELD: physics; optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optics and can be used in thermal imaging devices which detect thermal radiation in the middle and far infrared spectrum using multi-element radiation detectors. The infrared system consists of series-arranged lenses, which construct an intermediate image, a first flat mirror, a second flat mirror, a projection lens, an aperture diaphragm and a multi-element radiation detector. The infrared system also includes a reference radiation system comprising series arranged source of reference radiation, a condenser, and a flat mirror thrown near the intermediate image. The focal distance of the condenser is 0.4-0.9 of the focal distance of the projection lens.

EFFECT: increased sensitivity of the infrared system.
