FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to cardiology and cardiosurgery. For this purpose body weight of patient under examination is measured, age is defined exactly, general oxygen consumption is measured and simultaneously electric cardiogram is registered for calculation of heart rate per minute. In addition, hemoglobin concentration in blood, saturation of arterial blood with oxygen are measured. After that stroke volume is calculated by formula and compared with its calculated standard value.
EFFECT: accurate measurement of heart stroke volume value and in comparison with measured value of stroke volume affords ground for making conclusion about how much said parametre of heart activity is changed.
