FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used in electronic-hydromechanical automatic control systems (ACS) of gas turbine engines (GTE). It consists in measuring, in engine actual or false starting, engine rotor rpm, and actual fuel consumption in combustion chamber and air pressure at GTE compressor inlet to determine the moment fuel manifold starts operation at. It comprises also comparing fuel pressure in said manifold and air pressure at engine intake. If said difference falls beyond preset range, signal "Faulty Fuel System" is generated to inhibit starting the engine.
EFFECT: higher quality of fuel system control, increased reliability of GTE and aircraft safety.
