FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in changing control to HMC, ER failure cause is analysed. EC failure location is identified with accuracy to functional module. List of safe EC modules is defined. In case safe EC modules are used in preset time after changing to hydro mechanical control to control engine rotor rpm and margin of engine compressor gas-dynamic stability by comparing measured magnitudes with preset values. In case engine rotor rpm exceeds preset tolerances in preset time or engine surges, electronic controller is used to generate fuel stop inhibit instruction to shut engine down.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and safety.
