FIELD: engine manufacture, fuel feeding equipment for diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: distribution high-pressure fuel pump of radial/piston make has two crossing cylindrical recesses in rotor, opposite pump pistons being put in them to limit common working chamber 13 of pump. Pump pistons 27 located in first cylindrical recess 25 have such axial length that during their pressure stroke they submerge into second cylindrical recess 29 which pump pistons 31 do not reach first cylindrical recess 25 even during maximum pressure stroke. Short pistons 31 have rest formed by collar 43 on their ends protruding from cylindrical recess 29 that prevents involuntary slipping of short pump pistons among long pump pistons 27 while pump is switched off so that pressure stroke of pistons can be increased to value at which long pump pistons go out of cylindrical recess 29 that guides short pump pistons 31 during suction stroke. EFFECT: increased pressure stroke of pump pistons. 3 cl, 3 dwg
