FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic metering pump incorporated with accumulator fuel system low-pressure line comprises electromagnetic drive and spool-and-sleeve. Spool of the latter is moved into open position by electromagnetic drive armature that overcomes resistance of return compression spring. Spool split casing has one part that makes a part of electromagnet casing to act as an armature of electromagnetic drive. Electromagnet is enclosed in outer casing with separate clamping flange. Another part of the casing, a sleeve, accommodates the spool with said return spring. Note here that said spool has a locking edge fuel misfire.

EFFECT: ease of manufacture of metering pump.
