FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed plant comprises rotor formed by vertical shaft with blades arranged on its outer surface that feature radial size increasing along the rotor height. Rotor blades are arranged along spiral line so that the end of every subsequent blade on rotor upper level overlaps the start of every previous blade on rotor lower level. Rotor lower part can rotate in truncated-cone funnel aligned with solar flat collector smaller diametre. Said collector represents two strong polymer films, transparent upper film and black lower film with larger radial diametre in horizontal plane compared with rotor height. Solar energy collector can be mounted in desert location, or slat pond or the like. Proposed plant allows using repeated wind lower speeds, e.g. v=2 to 6 m/s to operate it almost continuous mode to increase wind power capacity factor and windmill operation interval in windless but sunny periods.
EFFECT: simplified design and higher efficiency.
