FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: elastic coupling comprises two half-couplings jointed by elastic elements. Drive half-coupling is furnished with rollers, while driven half-coupling groove accommodates two plate-supported thrust prisms with their copying surface interacting with aforesaid rollers. Note here that elastic elements are arranged between said prisms. Note also that said half-couplings have spaces to accommodate inertial weights coupled, via plate springs, with half-couplings. Inertial weights can be located in damping fluid encased in reservoir along the edge of half-couplings.
EFFECT: expanded spectrum of torsional oscillation damping, reduced dynamic loads and shafts misalignment compensation.
