FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: torsional vibration damper contains a damper with built-in compression springs, a hub with a splined profile, made with the possibility of connection with the machine transmission and with a central disk made with mounting holes, compensating slots and with fasteners for the power drive. The torsional vibration damper is made with the possibility of fixing directly on the engine flywheel through the holes of the central disk, made with grooves, holes of different diameters and with truncations of the circle in form of flats, equipped with two rings of the corresponding diameter, assembled with the disk connected to the splined profile of the gearbox shaft. The damper assembly is fixed by means of steel rivets, providing a permanent connection with a disk made of alloy steel, coated with a synthetic material containing Kevlar, up to 0.25 mm thick, on which eight outer and eight inner springs of the damper assembly are fixed, evenly spaced around the circumference acting as an elastic coupling, as well as a Belleville spring installed between the rings and the damper disk.
EFFECT: increased reliability and wear resistance while improving the performance of the absorber.
