FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hot water boiler contains heat exchanger with water storage tank, furnace chamber connected to gas duct in order to discharge combustion products, radiation gas burner equipped with gas-permeable insert and injector mixer, and lighting-up device and flame control device. Heat exchanger is made of five rectangular hollow panels arranged in the form of rectangular parallelepiped, the sixth edge of which is covered with gas-permeable burner insert which is rectangular in plan view. Water storage tank of heat exchanger is comprised by cavities of its panels, which are connected to each other. Furnace chamber is restricted with inner surfaces of heat exchanger panels and with rectangular burner insert. Ratio A of total area of inner surfaces of heat exchanger panels restricting the furnace chamber to surface area of rectangular insert of burner corresponds to inequation: 1.5<A<5. At such boiler design there provided is heat absorption of larger amount of heat in the form of radiation and convention immediately in its furnace chamber.
EFFECT: increasing thermal factor of furnace chamber and improving boiler efficiency.
