FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of wire and may be used in hardware production to manufacture coppered wire, which is used for welding or in various industry fields. Method includes preliminary preparation of rolled wire for drawing, the first drawing of rolled wire with application of dry lubricant, recrystallisation annealing, preparation of wire for the second drawing, the second drawing of wire, contact copper coating, washing and drying. The second drawing of wire is carried out into two stages: 1 stage - drawing with application of dry lubricant, 2 stage - drawing of wire with application of liquid lubricant. In method 4 baths are used, which are equipped with wipers. Wire copper coating includes feeding wire into the first bath with liquid or with liquid containing chelate and heated up to temperature of 40-60 C°, with further rubbing. Rubbing is repeated after each bath. Afterwards wire is sent to the second bath into sulfuric acid solution or solution of sulfuric acid that contains chelate. Further contact copper coating of wire is carried out in the third bath. Coppered wire is washed in water in the fourth bath, and tightening broaching and drying are performed at final stage.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce strong adhesion of coat to wire, to make coating dense and even and requires minimum expenditures.
