FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and can be used in metalware production. Method includes preparing the surface of the blank before dry drawing, including etching the blank in a hydrochloric acid solution, washing with water, application of an undercoating coating in a borax solution at a temperature of 85–95 °C, drying with the subsequent determination of the microtopography of the blank surface. Blank is drawn through the solutions continuously at a constant linear speed of 3.0 to 7.0 m/min, and after the drying, the roughness on the blank surface is determined in accordance with the rules.
EFFECT: formation of an optimal microrelief, ensuring a stable grip of the lubricant by the blank surface in the deformation center.
