FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to overhead railway system intended for address delivery of passengers and cargoes. Proposed railway consists of beam with LH and RH hook-like section parts, lower and upper support-and-retainer rails arranged in every part of said beam. Said rails are arranged at one level in LH and RH beams at distances corresponding to that between LH and RH wheels of transport carriage. Current conducting rail located above the center of said transport carriage is arranged at railway top part in dielectric attachments. Beam inner side is made from, for example steel perforated band with lower and upper rails attached thereto. Beam outer side is made from, for example porous aluminium section to compensate compression forces, which is fastened on the band other side, in attachments shared with rails. Beam suspension eyelets are rigidly fixed with upper rail and located on one line passing the in the center of rail working surfaces.
EFFECT: reduced structure weight, efficient and noiseless operation.
