FIELD: cargo and passenger rail transport. SUBSTANCE: system has track transition tier whose beginning and end are made, respectively, over first and second tracks at height of alignment of rails with vehicle lifting wheels. The latter are installed on axles some ends of which are secured on drives for shifting to height of transition tier. Useful load is made on hanger secured on vehicle bogie at side of lifting wheel drives. Each section of track of length somewhat exceeding double length of vehicle, is provided with number mark, and vehicle is furnished with mark readout, transmitting and receiving devices. Marks on second track are located at half the length of first track and so do not coincide with those of first track. Computer control is used in system.
