FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic rail transport providing address delivery. According to proposed method of synchronization of vehicle movement in automatic transport system each section of track on section where two transport flows merge exceeding double length of vehicle is furnished with track section number mark, and marks on second track are made non-coinciding with first track. Movement is synchronized by reading, transmitting and receiving devices on vehicles. Frequency of movement synchronization signals in automatic transport system is set through contact system, for instance, through current-carrying (line) rail, and reading devices of vehicles synchronize said signals with signals from track information marks.

EFFECT: improved safety of passenger and freight carriage and increased track traffic capacity.
