SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunication equipment, mainly to digital wireless communication, and can be used in railway transport for wireless communication on stations. The device has a central fixed system which communicates with the rolling stock over a radio channel. The central fixed system has automated workstations for engineering and operating teams of the railway station, whose leads are connected through switches to the first leads of the common switch, the second lead of which is connected to the lead of series-connected router and switch of the local area network. The system includes a switching controller, and the railway station has intellectual access points, routers, wireless modems and video cameras. The first lead of the switching controller is connected to the third lead of the common switch, and second leads of the switching controller are connected to leads of one of the access points, while leads of the other access points are connected to leads of routers of the local data transfer network. Leads of the video camera are connected to leads of the routers and wireless modems respectively.

EFFECT: high-speed transfer of data, including video and speech.
