FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: procedure for power gas-turbine installation start-up consists of three stages. Spinning of rigidly tied rotors of a turbo-compressor by means of an external start-up device, for example expander is made during the first and second stages. The expander is rigidly connected with the shaft of the turbo-compressor through an automatic claw clutch. The turbo-compressor consists of a compressor, turbine and primary furnace equipped with a fuel regulating valve closed at the first stage of start-up and cracked at the second stage. Rigidly tied rotors of the compressor and turbine are subsequently disconnected from the start-up device when their design speed is achieved; at the third stage they are put at working speed due to raise of consumption rate and pressure of fuel gas. A dump valve is installed at the outlet of the axial compressor and is connected with the inlet of the primary furnace. Start-up of the gas-turbine installation at the first and second stages is performed at an opened damp valve, while disconnection of the start-up device is performed at a closed damp valve.

EFFECT: decreased imbalance of power caused by turbine rotor rotation frequency drop and temperature surge before turbine at moment of start-up device disconnection at gas-turbine installation start-up.
