FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises starting of gas turbine engine by feed of compressed starting air from the side of dual air intake into compressor. Starting is performed by air from starting compressor. After outage of micro gas turbine starting compressor is started again without fuel feed to cool down the combustion chamber, turbine and rotor bearings. Said of micro gas turbine comprises combustion chamber, compressor, turbine, cold air line, hot air line and rotor shaft. Said starting and cooling device comprises starting compressor with air valve connected with compressor of micro gas turbine via adapter coupling. Note here that said starting compressor and air valve are arranged in dual air intake.
EFFECT: smooth torque transfer to engine rotor, forced cooling of cooling chamber, turbine and rotor bearings.
