FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: available composite radar absorbent material, which contains powdery ferrite and polymer binder, additionally contains carbon nanotubes, and ferrite powder itself is selected as base in the form of barium hexagonal ferrite alloyed with scandium ions, with dispersion from 5 to 50 mcm, besides components of composite material are selected with the following ratios, in wt %: polymer binder 29.40-39.96, ferrite 58.80-69.93, carbon nanotubes 0.1-2. Effect from addition of carbon nanotubes into material composition becomes evident if number of added nanotubes exceeds 0.1 wt %. Application of nanotubes in amount of more than 2 wt % results in increased viscosity of material, which deteriorates its technological properties. Selected number of powdery ferrite with hexagonal structure as base in composition of composite radar absorbent material provides for absorption of electromagnetic radiation based on event of natural ferromagnetic resonance.
EFFECT: improved absorption of electromagnetic radiation in composite material with preservation of the same values of electromagnetic radiation reflection.
