FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to methods of producing composite material for absorption of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of high- and superhigh-frequency (SHF) range. Disclosed is a method of producing conducting radiation-absorbent material, which involves grinding carbon fibre in a planetary ball mill and subsequent mixing with ferrites of hexagonal structure of Z-type and epoxy adhesive in mass ratio, %: oxide hexagonal ferrimagnetic – 55–70, carbon fibre – 0.01–0.09, epoxy adhesive – 29.91–44.99; characterized by that the obtained mixture is subjected to ultrasonic treatment with further action of an external magnetic field of 4 kOe for 6 hours, after which it is held without external factors for 24 hours until complete polymerisation, then using a thin layer of epoxy glue, said composite is fixed on a metal substrate.

EFFECT: reduced EMR reflection coefficient in a wide microwave band.
