FIELD: aerospace engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises launch complex. Launch complex comprises service equipment, launch path with a part arranged at an angle to horizon, acceleration segment, launcher with space object and two engines. One engine is arranged on space object and another is incorporated with launcher. Launch path represents rails divided into segments, not connected electrically and arranged in parallel to equator in direction from West to East, each rail being connected to power supply as space object runs on rails. Said rails are enclosed in tunnel or pipe filled with helium or air at pressure equal to ambient air pressure at the runnel or pipe outlet. Launcher comprises a device intended for initiate motion exploiting air cushion at initial acceleration segment till origination of levitation. Acceleration segment comprises starting, horizontal and lifting sections. Starting and lifting sections of launch path are arranged at an angle to horizon and feature maximum height. Horizontal section is an elongated section.
EFFECT: system to launch large-weight objects at speed approximating to cosmic speed, and possibility of system reuse.
