FIELD: rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket technology, and in particular to takeoff and acceleration systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The method consists in launching and accelerating the aircraft to takeoff speed using a mortar method, characterized by opening the aircraft nozzle, starting the aircraft engine, inflating the receiver with the exhaust gases of the aircraft turbojet engine, adjusting the pressure required for starting the pressure reducing valve of the receiver, releasing the wad with the UAV fixed on it by means of a lock-starter mechanism, separating the wad from the UAV and bringing the nozzle of the turbojet engine to its normal state after the latter exits the mortar barrel. The device for implementing the method includes a mortar barrel rigidly mounted on a receiver equipped with a pressure reducing valve, tightly inserted and fixed by a lock-start mechanism located on the mortar barrel, into the wad barrel, on which the tail section is installed and secured with an aircraft lock.
EFFECT: launch of the UAV is carried out "according to the mortar" principle, while the turbojet engine of the aircraft itself is the source of energy.
