FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in chemical industry. Method for production of soda ash by ammoniac method includes preparation and treatment of saturated brine of sodium chloride, preparation of ammoniated brine, its cooling, carbonisation of ammonia-saturated brine with extraction of sodium hydrocarbonate, filtration with further washing and calcination. Washing of hydrocarbonate residue is carried out with aqueous solution of ionogenic surfactant based on alkylbenzyldimethylammonia chloride, where alkyl is C12-14, C10-16, C16-18, with concentration of surfactant in washing water of 0.005-0.02 % and soda ash consumption of 0.045-0.18 kg/t.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce energy inputs at the stage of calcinations due to reduction of sodium hydrocarbonate moisture.
