SUBSTANCE: method for preparing soda ash involves preparing the purified mother liquor saturated with ammonia at the absorption stage, its carbonization, filtering hydrocarbonate suspension to obtain sodium hydrocarbonate and mother liquor and compensation of ammonia loss. Compensation of ammonia loss is carried out using low-ammonicated mother liquor saturated by sodium chloride and containing 10-90 g/dm³ of ammonia and 250-290 g/dm³ of sodium chloride by its mixing at adsorption stage with flow of the purified mother liquor in the mass ratio = 0.05-0.005. Invention allows utilization of by-side waste in chemical manufactures and to enhance degree of raw usage. Invention can be used in preparing soda ash. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 1 dwg, 2 ex
