FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat-resistant chords intended for being used as heat insulation and/or sealing of connections in various heating units and heat-conducting systems at temperature of up to 400°C. Proposed chord is made from fibrous and/or thready material so that not less than 92% of surface area of corresponding cross section falls at fibrous and/or thready material for each cross section of chord.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in operating characteristics of the product, increase in mechanical strength of chord, and at the same time, it allows maintaining minimum gas permeability of chord.
