FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat-resistant chords intended for being used as heat insulation and/or sealing of connections in various heat units and heat-conducting systems at temperature of up to 400°C. Proposed chord is made from fibrous material and/or thready material; at that, chord is made with softness providing chord deformation in transverse direction at operation compression of not more than 50% of initial thickness of chord.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in operating characteristics of the product, increase in mechanical chord strength with simultaneous maintaining of minimum gas permeability.
