SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a transparent substrate comprising a multilayer coating stack and its use in the manufacture of a double glazing unit, the multilayer coating stack comprising n functional metal layers m, where n is from 4 to 6, and (n+1) dielectric layers, d. Dielectric layers are located before and after each functional metal layer. Each dielectric layer contains one or more layers, characterized in that the geometric layer thickness for each functional metal layer in the coating package Gm is greater than the geometric layer thickness for each functional metal layer located before it in the multilayer coating package. For each dielectric layer d located before and after each functional metal layer m, the optical thickness of the layer (opln ) is greater than or equal to the optical thickness of the layer (opln-1) located before it in the coating stack, provided that twice the optical thickness of the layer of the first dielectric layer (opl1) in the coating package is less than the optical thickness of the layer of the second dielectric layer (opl2) in the coating package, the doubled optical thickness of the layer of the last dielectric layer (opln+1) in the coating package is greater than the optical thickness of the penultimate layer dielectric layer (opln).
EFFECT: optimization of the sun protection properties of window glass with high selectivity with minimal colour change.
