FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to testing equipment, namely to machines for testing of materials for friction and wear. Machine for friction and wear testing of materials comprises two discs, end surfaces of which have samples attached, one of discs has rotation drive from electric motor arranged in bed plate, and another one is installed in body on loading stem and is connected by flexible joint to hollow shaft that embraces stem, where lever is installed, which interacts with detector of friction torque fixed on body, unit of force loading and systems of measurement and control. Besides detector of friction torque, which works for compression, is installed so that its power axis passes at a constant distance from axis of hollow shaft rotation and matches line of force action from lever that transfers friction torque from samples.
EFFECT: improved metrological properties of machine and increased reliability.
