FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: application: for checkout of internal structures, geometry and physical characteristics of objects. A laser ultrasonic flaw detector contains a pulse laser connected through a fibre optic with an optophone, and a piezoelectric receiver connected through an amplifier with an analogue-digital converter connected to a computer. The optophone represents a single block arranged on an analysed object. It comprises a plate of an optoacoustic generator between the analysed object and a transparent cylinder which contains at its end face the piezoelectric receiver, and the cylinder facet is interfaced through the optical system to the fibre optic.

EFFECT: eliminated necessity for laser radiation transmission through the ultrasound receiver.
