SUBSTANCE: use: to determine and control the velocities of surface and longitudinal acoustic waves in materials under quasistatic and cyclic loads. Essence of the invention is that device for determining and controlling the velocities of surface and longitudinal acoustic waves in materials under quasistatic and cyclic loads comprises a pulse-modulated laser connected to an optoacoustic transducer via an optical fiber, as well as a piezo-receiver, connected to an analog-to-digital converter, connected to a computer, controlled object is located between the optoacoustic transducer and the piezo-receiver, device further comprises a second piezo-receiver, which is made in the form of a flat ring, axisymmetrically connected with optoacoustic transducer, and is connected to an analog-to-digital converter.

EFFECT: technical result is increased informative value of the optical-acoustic method of studying and controlling the mechanical and structural properties of materials and structural elements both in the free state and under a quasistatic or cyclic load.
