FIELD: physics; navigation.
SUBSTANCE: tracking system for mobile objects in space can be used for air traffic control. The result is achieved due to that, the tracking system which has functionally connected location and optical-electronic position finders, mode logic generator, smoothing filter, first adder, first guiding and stabilisation device, and the location and optical-electronic position finders are mechanically connected together and are kinematically linked to the output shaft of the first stabilisation and guiding device, also includes an automatic tracking device, a gyroscopic angle sensor, a device for measuring speed of position finders, two radio-frequency units mounted on the pipe of the turret mounting, a device for processing signals of the radio-frequency units, a computing unit and a second stabilisation and guiding device. Stable tracking is provided through selection of structures of the location and optical tracking systems. For precision striking of the tracked target on the measured flight speed of shells from the bore, the computation unit calculates the angle of lead which is summed with the guidance angle of the position finder and used in the second stabilisation and guiding device which tracks movement of the position finders for precise striking of the target by missiles.
EFFECT: more stable tracking of a mobile object and accuracy of shooting a maneuvering target.
