FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication and can be used in radio reception devices working in the shortwave (SW) range. The proposed method for radio reception in the SW range involves the following: received shortwave radio signals are filtered using a band-pass filter, an attenuator regulates and attenuates signals outside the operating frequency band, the spectrum of the received signal is divided into narrow transmission bands using narrow bandpass filters, further, there is suppression of the second and higher harmonics of noise outside the band of each of the narrow bandpass switched filters, levels of signals coming from the output of one of the n narrow bandpass filters are matched, signals are amplified and undergo analogue-to-digital conversion, on the basis of which a digital code of useful signals and a digital filter, signals from whose output are used for further processing.

EFFECT: increased radio reception noise immunity.
