FIELD: physics; radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used as a reception device in frequency agile radio communication systems. For this purpose a reception device with double-frequency change includes series-connected first intermediate frequency broad-band amplifier and a switch whose output is connected to the input of a first intermediate frequency narrow-band amplifier, and the input of the latter is connected to the output of a first frequency converter. The switch is closed by a signal from a microcontroller for time for setting the first intermediate frequency in a broad-band path from the moment of frequency selection in the first frequency synthesiser, whose output is considerably higher than the frequency of the received signal. The microcontroller also controls with the control input of the second synthesiser.
EFFECT: considerable increase in speed of operation of the reception device when switching received frequencies simultaneously with high selectivity on image and neighbouring channels and high sensitivity.
