DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR DISORDERED BINOCULAR VISION AND METHOD FOR RESTORATION OF BINOCULAR VISION Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B3/02 A61F9/00

Abstract RU 2381738 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and can be used in ophthalmology for diagnostics of binocular vision of a person, with evaluating duration of visual perception biorhythms and restoration of binocular sight. That is ensured by evaluating duration of visual perception biorhythms for the left and right eye, during photostimulation by various spectra of visible range of electromagnetic radiation; that is followed with analysing the waves of alpha rhythms of one electroencephalogram recorded from any left or right inions of cerebral visual derivations for correlation with varying a field of vision from one eye on another. The moments of varying fields of vision from one eye on another is determined by the moments of characteristic distortions of alpha-rhythm periodic waves. Thus the first eye is preliminary completely isolated from photostimulation, and the second eye during adaptation time is exposed to photostimulation by any first visible spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. Further, the first eye is exposed to photostimulation by the second visible spectrum of electromagnetic radiation, additional to the first one. As the first deformed alpha rhythm wave is observed after primary photostimulation on the first eye, intervals of duration of visual perception biorhythms are started to be counted. The value of duration of biorhythm of the first eye is determined by the average value of odd intervals between the moments of varying the field of vision from one eye to another, and the numerical value of duration of biorhythm of the second eye determined by the average value of even intervals between the moments of varying a field of vision from one eye to another. The method for restoration of binocular vision includes preliminary diagnostics of visual functions with evaluating the numerical values of duration of visual perception biorhythms for the left and right eye, alternating pulse of photostimulation for both eyes by visible range of spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. Periodicity of photostimulation for each eye is specified as equal to total numerical values of duration of biorhythms for both eyes. Photostimulation is preceded with preliminary adaptation of an eye with smaller numerical value of duration of biorhythm at complete isolation from photostimulation of eye with greater numerical value of duration of biorhythm. And the first pulse of photostimulation is transmitted approximately with greater numerical value of duration of biorhythm. Duration of pulses of photostimulation in the following periods for an eye with greater big numerical value of duration biorhythm is smoothly reduced from the value equal to biorhythm for the given eye to the average duration of biorhythms of both eyes. Duration of pulses of photostimulation for an eye with smaller numerical value of duration of biorhythm is smoothly increased from the value equal to biorhythm for the given eye to the average duration of biorhythms of both eyes.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows improving accuracy of diagnostics of disordered binocular vision, and also improving effectiveness of restoration of binocular vision.
