FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for assessment and correction of binocular vision disorders. Method includes phase separation of vision fields and presentation of stereo image. At the same time on the monitor screen through red for one eye and blue for the other eye, light filters of the glasses are presented with a stereotest with color stimuli. In the center, on the background of red and blue colored rectangular crosses intersecting at right angles, there is a circle. On periphery at angles along diagonal there are two overlapping circles of red and blue color and two similar rings. Stereotest is presented first in non-alternating, and then in alternating mode: with sequential monocular presentation of stimuli corresponding to right and left eye. With presence of only black background between monocular phases; with presence of binocular phase between monocular phases. State of binocular functions is estimated by ability to bifoveal fusion and / or stereoscopic vision and correction is performed by presentation of a stereotest in an alternating mode in a sequence depending on the nature of the detected binocular function disturbances to improvement of binocular vision. In the presence of ametropia and an angle of strabismus, a stereotest is presented in conditions of optimal optical correction of ametropia and full prismatic compensation of the angle of eccentricity. Diameter of the circle located at the center of the stereo test is 1.5 cm. Color stimuli have characteristics for red parts – R 208, G 0, B 0, blue – R 38, G 0, B 220, purple – R 215, G 102, B 162.
EFFECT: method provides detecting disorders related to ability to bifoveal fusion and / or stereoscopic vision, and improvement of binocular vision.
