FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics. Traction of the proximal end of ruptured tendon is carried out in position of maximum plantar bending of foot throughout treatment in an external fixation apparatus comprising three rings and one half-ring. Dynamic traction of the proximal end of ruptured tendon is carried out to contact the distal end of tendon at rate of one millimetre a day by moving a middle ring towards the distal end of tendon with using possibilities of adjustable attachment of all three rings. Then a zigzag incision is performed on a posterior surface of shin with freshening of the ends of wound of ruptured tendon. Then the ruptured ends of tendon are sutured together. It is followed with separating a long muscle bending a great toe. Paratenon is reconstructed by means of covering the tendon suture region with said muscle. The operational wound is closed with reducing the cross-section tension of its edges as displaced at the distance one to two centimetres to the centre of shin of skin graft apexes of the zigzag approach.

EFFECT: method provides diastasis liquidation, improved blood supply within tendon rupture due to paratenon reconstruction, prevented regional necroses due to preserved of ruptured ends for the whole union period, decreased edge tension of the operational wound while being closed.
