FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurology. The patient is exposed to transcranial micropolarisation with DC current. There are 2 electrodes used, each of the area 3-5 cm2. The exposure is unilateral with current 0.1-015 mA. The first 3 sessions implies that an anode is arranged on a frontal pole of the subdominant hemisphere, 1-1.5 cm higher than superciliary arch and 2 cm laterally than frontal suture, while a cathode is found above ipsilateral mastoid. The following 4-5 sessions are carried out with the anode arranged 1 cm higher than bridge of nose and the cathode arranged on mastoid of the subdominant hemisphere. Duration of a session is 35 - 40 minutes. Therapeutic course includes 7-11 sessions every 3-5 days.
EFFECT: method ensures prolonged remission due to exposure of various scalp regions with small-area electrodes.
