METHOD OF TREATING AMBLYOPIA IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61F9/00 A61N1/20 A61B5/476 A61K31/197 A61K31/4415 A61K33/06 A61P27/10

Abstract RU 2648824 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and may be used for treating amblyopia in children. To do this, electroencephalography with the determination of the amplitude of the alpha-rhythm is conducted. If the alpha-rhythm index is recorded below 50 mcV, the patient first takes pantogam 250 mg twice a day for one week. After that, the central part of the visual analyzer is exposed by transcranial micropolarization with a current strength of 20 mcA with anode localization in the posterior temporal and occipital projection and cathode in the projection of the mastoid process of the same-name hemisphere for 30 minutes. 10 procedures every other day are performed. At the same time, administration of pantogam is continued for up to one month. If the alpha-rhythm is recorded above 70 mcV, the patient first takes magnesium B6, 1 pallet 2 times a day for one week. After this, the above transcranial micro-polarization is carried out in the same regime and the administration of B6 magnesium is continued for up to one month.

EFFECT: method provides increased visual functions, regulation of cortical-subcortical relationships with an increase in activity of the central part of the visual analyzer, and improvement of the patient's psychophysiological status.
