FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to resources-conscious and environmentally-safe fuel systems incorporated with standard ICE and using fuel emulsions of the "water-in-hydrocarbon" type. Proposed system comprises proportioner-mixer, consisting of pure fuel and water feed systems and mixing chamber, and disperser furnished with water-fuel mix system and fuel-water feed pipeline. Pure fuel, water and water-fuel feed systems are formed by circulation circuits furnished with pump and pressure control valve. Circulation circuit water feed branch incorporates check valve, while pure fuel circulation circuit feed branch is furnished with branch pipe with valve intended for communication with fuel emulsion feed pipeline. The latter is connected to ICE high-pressure pump, while pure fuel and water feed system pipeline is connected to pipelines carrying appropriate fluids in standard fuel system. Disperser can represent vibro acoustic mixer.
EFFECT: wider used of water-fuel emulsion in ICE feed system.
