FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification of industrial gases of carbon sulphides. Proposed sorbent for purifying gases of carbon sulphide represents dressed or raw ores containing manganese oxides, some 18% to 70% weight percent, selected from the following series, i.e. ocean iron-manganese concretions or iron-manganese ores that contain manganese compounds representing pyrolusite and manganese ore that contains manganese compounds representing braunite or cryptomelane.
EFFECT: expanded range of cheap sorbents with high sorption properties.
