FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing of rebar or other reinforcing bar. Manufacturing method of stretched product of variable cross-section includes preliminary modeling of structure, in which will be used stretched product of variable cross-section with definition of placement of stressed sections of structure and selection on stretched product areas of placement at least of three sections on length of rod, which has cross-section increasing relative to basic cross-section and corresponding to location of stretched areas of structure. Length and cross-section of sections, position of which is increased, changes by noncyclic law. Formation of sections with increased cross section is implemented at local heating of positions of these section up to condition of high-ductile material of product and counter axial sinkage, leading to deformation of heated sections.
EFFECT: invention will provide positive position of armature in concrete, even in situation of connection loss of rod with concrete, at manufacturing of reinforced concrete structures.
