FIELD: motor industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in manufacturing of heatproof honeycomb elements in the form of heatproof structures, mainly in motor industry for carriers of catalytic neutralisers, adsorbers or filters used for neutralisation or reduction of spent gases toxicity. Heatproof structure has at least one at least partially profiled metal layer. In process of its manufacturing, at least on one connecting section of at least one metal layer, adhesive is applied in the form of drops for formation of adhesive layer, with thickness of less than 0.05 mm. Then heatproof structure is formed at least partially, and solder is applied, which at least partially sticks to adhesive layer. Thermal treatment is carried out to produce soldered joints.
EFFECT: method provides for precision application of adhesive and solder in manufacturing of metal heatproof honeycomb elements.
