SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cellular element intended for decreasing the off-gas toxicity in ICE exhaust system. Proposed invention consists in the following: cellular element has the casing and sheets of foil to make channel-forming structure (4). Said structure is secured by multiple linear soldered joints to said casing. Said multiple sheets of foil are arranged so that every said sheet has at least one end abutting on said casing to make at least one linear soldered joint therewith. Said joint is confined by appropriate foil sheet end to extend therefrom towards foil sheet central part. Invention describes the production of said cellular element intended for making such linear soldered joints between channel-forming structure and casing.
EFFECT: decreased amount of solder, accurate positioning of soldered joint.
