FIELD: ship building.
SUBSTANCE: ship hull features V-section bottom and sides furnished with two acute bilges. Primary bilge with built-in spray wedge extends over entire length of the hull to go up nearby ship bow along S-like trajectory up to nearly sup upper deck. Additionally, said bilge is furnished with a ledge directed towards hull plating, to hull peripheral plane. A part of said bilge is located nearby water line and extends from ship stem to that part of bilge that enters water. The part of hull bow, below its additional bilges, extends forward, beyond stem line of lower hull bow section to form a ram ledge. The latter features water lines monotonically narrowing towards bow, frames representing isosceles triangles with their apices directed downward and located on hull keel line and upper surface representing a continuation of surfaces widening as both aforesaid additional bilges, on both sides, approach the ship bow. A part of bow extreme part represents a separate 3-D suspended hull structure arranged to vary its position relative to the hull main section. Lower edges of bottom and side sections of plating of aforesaid suspended structure form ledges that, in motion, double as hull transverse planning steps.
EFFECT: improved operating performances.
