FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: charge contains iron-carbon metal and oxide material. In the capacity of iron-carbon metal it is used vanadium-bearing cast iron, in the capacity of oxide material it is used vanadium-bearing pellets or vanadium-bearing agglomerate, herewith mentioned components of charge are in following ratio, wt %: vanadium-bearing cast iron 80-95, vanadium-bearing pellets or vanadium-bearing agglomerate 5-20, herewith charge is implemented in the form of ingots with envelope, containing vanadium-bearing cast iron, and central part, containing vanadium-bearing pellets of fraction 5-20 mm or vanadium-bearing agglomerate of fraction 0.1-20 mm, herewith ratio of oxides of vanadium in vanadium-bearing pellets or vanadium-bearing agglomerate to content of carbon in vanadium-bearing cast iron (V2O5/C) is kept not less than 1:20.
EFFECT: reduction of prime cost of molten steel ensured by reduction of expenditures for alloying of steel by vanadium and improvement of molten steel.
