FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbine production. Turbo machine rotor seal consists of two identical halves arranged along joint plane with no gaps. Each said half comprises case-shaped part representing inner semi-ring with "П"-like cross section and arranged coaxially with rotor axis and pivoted to stator with the help of outer semi-ring accommodated inside said part and multi-layer pack resting upon the latter, said pack being stacked of steel hardened equal-thickness ground belts. Packs are made up of several corrugated belts with their apices being consecutively interconnected and flat belts being arranged between corrugated belts. All elements of every seal half are interjointed elastically with the help of spring hook. One flexible lug of said hook rests on outer semi-ring, while second lug of the hook is rigidly attached to inner semi-ring. Mating slot of inner semi-ring is covered by a plate rigidly jointed to inner semi-ring, while plate surface, whereon multi-layer pack belt flutes rest, is made flush with the inner semi-ring surface. Thrust sites of lugs are wider than hook flexible part, while gaps, along all surfaces of flexible parts of each hook, feature minimum size. Gaps between mating ends of the belts, both flat and corrugated, in assembled seal also feature minimum tolerable size. Lug of every hook that rests upon outer semi-ring slot bearing surface has a step, while mating step is made on the slot bearing surface. There is a gap between steps in peripheral direction, equal to or a bit exceeding maximum amplitude of displacement that occurs in precession of the seal inner semi-rings. Inner surface of the wall of "П"-like section inner semi-ring has pockets arranged regularly along the circumference. There are gaps between outer semi-ring faces and inner semi-ring sidewalls that exceed those arranged along side faces of aforesaid searing site of lug resting upon outer semi-ring.
EFFECT: higher efficiency due to reduced leaks.
