SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine comprises at least one turbo compressor rotor running in bearings at least one electrical machine built in rotor and comprising a set of permanent magnets fitted on turbo compressor rotor, and electrical machine stator arranged on bearing support housing. Said stator is fitted on rotor bearing support housing face surface. Aforesaid set of permanent magnets is arranged to axially move in seats of bearing collar fitted on turbo compressor rotor inner surface, opposite the stator.
EFFECT: higher power output and efficiency.
