SUBSTANCE: device and method for setting and indication of time functions for electric domestic appliance, in particular electric stove, at least with two working areas. Device for setting and indication of time functions for domestic appliance, in particular stove or oven, with at least three working areas, at least one of which is an oven, and at least the other one is an area of cooktop, comprises control elements for setting and/or indication of at least one time function and at least one display for indication of at least one time function set or to be set. There are three control elements provided, every of which is related to one of three working areas of domestic appliance, for selection of working area of domestic appliance, and one additional control element for indication of process and/or operation duration, and also by one of additional control elements for increase and reduction of time value set or to be set in previously selected time function. There is child protection provided, which is arranged as set and/or indicated due to simultaneous action of at least two, preferably, distanced from each other, control elements, in particular during minimum time specified or to be specified. Reset is possible for at least one time value in at least one time function due to simultaneous actuation of two control elements. Method for time setting and indication is described.
