FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: natural gas liquefaction method includes cooling of compressed natural gas flow by means of indirect heat exchange with flow of cold cooling agent, throttling of cooled natural gas flow in throttling assembly, at which expansion work in throttling assembly is used for bringing the compressor into operation, which compresses cooling agent flow so that compressed cooling agent flow is formed, cooling and partial condensation of compressed cooling agent flow, its throttling so that cold cooling agent flow is formed and liquefaction of cooled raw material flow in natural gas liquefaction compartment. As a result of throttling, there produced is cooled raw material flow which contains more than 90% of vapour fraction. Expansion work in throttling assembly can be used for cooling the flow of cooling agent and obtaining cold cooling agent flow, for cooling when liquefied natural gas is obtained or for further cooling of compressed natural gas prior to liquefaction.
EFFECT: obtaining raw material from throttled cooled natural gas for liquefaction process can either increase the number of obtained liquefied natural gas with a view to this number of consumed power, or can reduce capital costs and/or operating costs for manufacture of this number of liquefied natural gas.
